Rick and Morty

Creators: Dan Harmon, Justin Roiland
Total Episodes: 49
IMDb Rating: 9.2

Rick and Morty has been one of the best adult cartoons since it aired in 2013. It’s a hilarious show that features interdimensional travel, space travel, and a lot of adult themes that aren’t suitable for children. The main reason it’s similar to Gravity Falls is because of how well it blends the mundane with the absurd.

The story is fairly straightforward. Rick Sanchez is a genius inventor who has mastered interdimensional travel and space travel. He takes his grandson, Morty, on adventures through different dimensions and planets. Along the way, they encounter all sorts of strange creatures and situations. The comedy comes from the contrast between Rick’s intelligence and the absurdity of their situations.
